holiday yay

Sharing a layout I made using Basic Grey's 25th & Pine. It has a great vintage modern vibe and was perfect to use with a photo of the halls being decked.
fa la la la la. la la. la. la.

I sewed lots down, as I do, but this time used gold metallic thread. The key to using metallic thread? Low and slow. Takes a bit longer just to insure your thread isn't constantly breaking, but I think the subtle added shimmer is worth it.
Gold is always worth it. Am I right?
The title was just going to be that pretty wood veneer "holiday", but the word "yay" keep popping up and I thought..."holiday yay"..hmm.. I like it. Because I have been feeling extra giddy about this time of year lately, so why not? Holiday yay it is. Plus, it gave me a chance to use those chipboard alphas in that rad font.

Hope your holiday season is feeling yay-ish so far!
