A little home decor project using some of the hot off the press Nikki Sivils paper! Her first two lines made their debut here locally a few days ago and may not last long...because they are TOO cute! All the paper used in this project is from her Victoria's Street line...minus the old text paper.
And yes I used an embroidery hoop for the layout. I sometimes like to use those, old book covers, cardboard, etc. for my backgrounds. I'm weird like that. And ok with it :)

I punched the "buttons" from paper, cut the couch out and stuffed the pillow before sewing it.

The title comes from the song by Chantal Kreviazuk. Beautiful, sweet lyrics.
I also picked up some paper from the My Sweet Cherry Pie line that I am excited to scrap with this weekend!
Congrats Nikki and team on your first lines! Excited to see what else you have in store!
Hope your weekend envolves getting crafty-Enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteReally cute Lexi! Love the embroidery hoop idea. I have some that belonged to my great-grandmother and I was wondering what I could do with them... :-)
