Speaking of prizes...Mama Elephant is giving away a $10 gift certificate on EVERY stop of the stampede!  In addition, we are giving away a grand prize of a $50 gift certificate to one lucky winner. You know you wanna win that. So be sure and comment on every stop and check out the Mama Elephant blog (the full order of the hop is at the bottom of this post in case you need it.)
I love a good christmasy stamp set. I love a good christmasy stamp set even more if it is versatile. Enter "remember december". If you like doing mini albums (I'm thinking dec. daily type) and/or project life, this stamp set is IT. I could totally see myself using this on layouts as well. I love how this set combines essentials, like journaling lines and borders, the card header rectangle, that great outlined number set, as well as a variety of typography sentiments: graphic circles, typewriter-ish and script. Such a good variety.
I choose to highlight the stamp set by making up some project life cards. These would be perfect for a December mini album or holiday-type project life spread.
I simply used the stamp set, simple grid cards, a few random embellishments and played around. A paper clip here, a bit of washi tape there. Combining bits and pieces with a stamp set helps make leftovers seem fresh. The cards came together quick and you could easily make up several in one sitting to have waiting for your next project.
I love the addition of the red thread to just highlight a few stamped sentiments.

I also made a few everyday type project life cards. Did I mention I like versatility? I like to be able to use a holiday stamp set beyond the holiday, to get the most bang for my buck so to speak. :)
