*edited to add: the winner has been announced on the Mama Elephant blog. Check there to see if it was you.*
Welcome to the Mama Elephant December Stampede! Thanks for coming from JJ's blog. To start from the top of the order head to the Mama Elephant blog. There's a chance at a gift certificate and you KNOW you could use some of these stamps in your life ;)
I'm using the rad Midnight Letters set. This font is sick..as in..good sick. As in, awesome. I can see myself reaching for them over and over again.
I had to get a little Christmasy with it. I mean, 'tis the season.
I altered using the metallic ink on the solid letters and outline ones. That font size--great for titles when you don't want to overwhelm your layout and would be fun to use for stamping out journaling. I popped out the "santa" for a little dimension.
I couldn't stop there and had some plain muslin bags. Hello quick and easy gift card holders! Who doesn't love a gift card? I give lots this time of year. There are so many words/sayings you could add here and even changing out the ink color would be another idea. I kept it simple with black ink and a few jingle bells tied to the drawstring. I used the tiny star featured in the set as "snow" on one of the bags. I made myself stop stamping bags at four. These were too fun.
If you need more inspiration I have another layout using this stamp set here.
Thanks for stopping by my spot on the stampede! Don't forget to comment here and along the way for your chance to win a Mama Elephant gift certificate...that way you could say "Merry Christmas to me!" Winner will be announced this Wednesday (12/5).
Now head to Savannah's blog. Happy Monday!
