gardeners' digest // december edition

Welcome to the December edition of the Gardener's Digest! Thanks for coming from Jen's blog.
How is it already 3 days until Christmas? And how is the new year right around the corner? I don't know why I act so shocked.. It's the same day/time every year, but always seems to catch me off guard.
This layout went up in the garden this past week. That boy. He loves being a cowboy. He would sleep in his boots if I would let him. My journaling for this age was his quote while he was up on the hay bale..."I'm Wyatt Earp and it all ends now!" Love that kid. You can see more photos and all the products used here.
A little sneak of a new project coming to the garden..
I have the pleasure of being friends with Becky in real life. What a gem of a person, not to mention creative. I always admire her layouts and that sweet whimsical look they have! She always adds a sweet unexpected touch..like that little merry & bright banner and button on the bottom of this layout. You can see more of her work here.

1. This die cut from Hello Forever/Marcy Penner makes the perfect title for a Christmas page.
2. I will never ever get tired of veneers. Loving these alphabet ones from Studio Calico's Darling Dear line.
3. I haven't bought a punch in a long while because I use my cameo to die cut everything, but I couldn't resist this one. Or this one. I plan to use them to type or stamp little sentiments and dates and then punch out. It'll also be perfect to add a little something to a journaling card.
4. I don't know why I am already thinking about valentine's day, but I am. These little stitched labels from Crate Paper are too sweet. Ready to go so you don't have to bust out some stitching. Love that.
5. This stamp set designed by Kelly Purkey for Two Peas! Totally going in my project life stash.

Leave a comment to win this Number It stamp set from Elle's Studio! Perfect for any kind of project, but would be great for those of us jumping on the Project Life wagon.
Now you're off to Nancy's blog. Enjoy your weekend!

  19. I am really enjoying this hop. I love the stamp set in your fav produts category. I could definitely use a number stamp set. Have been scrapping for 8 years now and I don't have one. I haven't even seen one before. I have had to set up my die cut machine when I need numbers. This would be awesome!

  33. Ooooh! I already have the SC alphabet wood veneer letters and used them on my hubby's Christmas gift - wonderful! It includes a geotag symbol which is so fun because I made a shadowbox to house his geocaching trinkets! Sorry for rambling, I just love wood veneer too! That Elle's Studio stamp set rocks! Love the graphic quality! Thanks for all you share and for the chance to win!
