it's been quiet

It's been a little quiet around here. Every spare minute I am trying to finish this room.
This past weekend that was my view. Installed the flooring ourselves. A fly on the wall might have heard mutterings of "curse you ikea". 10+ hours later (!) it was finished. We still have trim work to complete but I couldn't help throwing down the rug
adding our school rules and a very cool desk my mom found.
School (and scrapbooking) will soon be back in session. Pretty excited about it.
