how I pause time.

Sometimes a picture just reflects a moment so perfectly. These pictures are some of them. The season. Their ages. The laughing. The smell of leaves. The feeling I have of wanting to pause their sweet ages.
It just goes by so fast doesn't it?
That's why I scrapbook. To preserve little moments like this. I do like playing with paper and glue. And all the embellishments. Goodness knows I have a room reflective of that! I'm not a great photo taker. I'm okay with that. I imagine myself someday sitting in a very quiet house, looking back through the albums when they are off in the world and smiling over the pages, not because I rocked that arrow trend, but because I captured an ordinary, beautiful moment.
Scrapbooking is my way of pausing time.

It's Friday. YAY! Happy weekend to you.
