Gardeners' Digest // October edition

Welcome to the October edition of the Gardeners' Digest! Thanks for joining me from Shannon's  blog. The Two Peas in a Bucket blog is a great place to start if you miss a stop along the way.
A little sneak of something I have coming to the garden...
I really had fun with this one. Can't wait to share it!
October is one of my favorite months. It's our oldest son's birthday. It's our anniversary. In fact, he was born on our anniversary! The leaves are changing. The holidays are coming. I *really* love this time of  year. And it has me in the pumpkin mood. Pumpkin donuts. Pumpkin lattes. Decorating Pumpkins....with washi tape. Is this not a fabulous idea?
I have acquired loads of washi through the Two Peas store and if you are like me and have some lying around, grab a pumpkin. The kiddos will love it, too.
Inspiration can also be found in the amazing gallery at Two Peas. This layout from the gallery of aballen caught my eye. I love all the white space with the row of paper, embellishments and journaling. And that black butterfly is pretty brilliant.

Oh, geez. This is sooooo hard to pick only 5 because if you have been in the store lately you know there are LOTS of new products! Ok. I'll try.

Crate Paper Acorn Avenue. Maybe picking the entire line is cheating. Can't help it. I think we have already established my love for this time of year. This line totally echoes that sentiment. I love the funkiness in it. There are several elements in the chipboard sheet alone that do not limit it to *just* autumn themed projects, which is another bonus.

Sn@p by Simple Stories. This is a line that everyone has been talking about and it lived up to the excitement. I'm loving these 8 label stickers in a range of colors for $4.99. Great price and these will work on any project.

Hey stamp set. This set is made by Studio Calico/Hero Arts and is exclusive to Two Peas. I can tell you that is set is on my desk, very inky and well loved ;)

Seen & Noted journaling cards by Pebbles. These cards come in a perforated deck and are full of color and cute sayings. Would be great for project lifers, although I just use them on my layouts. You can't tell from the photo, but the back of each journaling card has a cute pattern so if that particular card doesn't work for you just flip it over.

Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic gold mini alpha. This whole line is pretty dreamy. I am totally digging these mini alphas. One side is white with gold lettering, the other side gold with while lettering. Love that you get both in one package. I need to get another pack of these for my december mini album.

My Mind's Eye Oliver enamel dots. Ok. So I added 6 things! I've said it before and I'll say it again: enamel dots are bling for boy pages. This new color set has this boy momma all excited. Two packs are on their way to me and I can't wait. They are the perfect little embellishment and stick great. I'm a huge fan.

Today I have a pretty pink Mr. Huey to giveaway! It's a very pretty pink, but having two boys you can guess that it wouldn't get used much ;)
Leave a comment and I will draw a winner on Friday. I'm thinking a few other goodies might slip in the box with Mr. Huey. Oh, my. That sounded scandalous.
Your next stop is the fabulous Jill :) Happy Monday!
