a cowboy & a pirate

Once upon a time I could dress my boys in coordinating halloween costumes...a fireman and a dalmatian (that was my favorite) or Buzz and Woody, but last year they decided to do their own thing...
...and although that made me a little sad...they were the cutest pirate and cowboy I ever did see :)

Several of my papers and products used weren't halloween because when I was making this layout there wasn't a lot released yet ;) But the fix to that is pulling colors and patterns that work with the holiday or season you are scrapping, and then throwing in a few themed products. You definitely get more use of your stash that way. I love the ampersand that comes in the Elle's Studio numbers set. Fits perfect in the label stickers from October Afternoon.
How about a winner or two? The winner of the October Afternoon Doo-Dads is...
Tina!
And the winner of the American Crafts Christmas date stamp is...
Jennifer!
I've emailed both of you ladies. Thanks so much to all who commented.
Enjoy your Thursday :)

  2. Adorable photos and perfect Halloween layout. I know a lot of people never used themed papers or embelishments and rely on colors and photos. TFS
