Here is a gianormous paper clip and a little mini I made for Nikki Sivils using her up-and-coming-to-a-store-near-you paper line "Henry's Brilliance". These were 2 of 6 projects she took with her to CHA and I needed to wait until after the show to post them. So have a peek!

3. The boys were taking a bath tonight and from the hall I hear Aven yelling, "moooommmm...Paxton's drinking hiney water!"

*the water in the tub, not toilet :)

weekend goodness

Had a great time getting crafty with a few scrapping friends this past weekend. Susan, Paula, Julie and Barb are true gems and I enjoyed our time together! It just always goes too fast :) Let me tell you those ladies were cranking out layouts left and right while I just piddled--is that an actual word?-and created a *few* projects--here's one:

My Sweet Cherry Pie line + vintage = happy scrapping girl (that would be me) 

I'll share a few more photos later. 

Had some happy news that made my weekend. No, I'm not pregnant :) Will share when  I have the okay :)

A little home decor project using some of the hot off the press Nikki Sivils paper! Her first two lines made their debut here locally a few days ago and may not last long...because they are TOO cute! All the paper used in this project is from her Victoria's Street line...minus the old text paper. 

And yes I used an embroidery hoop for the layout. I sometimes like to use those, old book covers, cardboard, etc. for my backgrounds. I'm weird like that. And ok with it :)

I punched the "buttons" from paper, cut the couch out and stuffed the pillow before sewing it.

The title comes from the song by Chantal Kreviazuk. Beautiful, sweet lyrics.

I also picked up some paper from the My Sweet Cherry Pie line that I am excited to scrap with this weekend!

Congrats Nikki and team on your first lines! Excited to see what else you have in store!
