This is one of those lines that I think has something for everyone. Lots of elements and colors to play with!
For my layout I must confess: I did a few things I rarely ever do...
1. I wrote my journaling. Why? Dunno. I usually type it.
2. I used butterflies. Now, I am a butterfly fan and have used them before, but, having boys, gravitate more toward stars and geometric shapes. The butterflies in this collection were too cute not to use.
3. Pink. I used pink. I mean, of course I did it's a layout about pink pants, so I figured...if there were ever a time to go pink crazy this was that time.
It was fair warning on the pink, no? I stuck to a pink, white, black color combo because of the photo.
Is there a show called something like, "say yes to the dress" ?or have I lost my mind? Anyway, the b/w park scene behind the instagram pic is actually a Woodland Park Here & Now chapter insert. Love that there are real life photos combined in those sets. The Woodland Park alpha is so fun. I sewed down the chevron washi for a border.
One of the things I was most excited about from this collection was the greens and blues, along with that gorgeous background stamp. I combined that all here in this card.
I stamped in navy ink first and then shifted the stamp slightly to create an overlap effect when I stamped with the aqua ink. Pretty certain this stamp is going to stay nice and inky ;)
Thanks so much for visiting! Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win a set of Woodland Park tidbits:
Leave an email address or way to contact you with your comment. I'll draw a winner on Monday.
Now onto the talented Danni's blog for more Woodland Park goodness and another chance to win! (If you are here and have no idea what I am talking about with this blog hop or if you get lost along the way, head on over to the October Afternoon blog.)
Happy Wednesday!
I love this collection!
