October Afternoon Cakewalk Blog Hop!

This collection is perfect for all sorts of celebrations, in a mix of pastels & brights, and with that October Afternoon vintage twist we all love.

One of my favorite papers in this collection is Guest List:

You can get so many cute cards out of this one sheet! Here's just one example:

When there is an image, such as the cowgirl here, I love to see if I can play up or embellish it in someway. Here, I cut the tinniest slit on each side of her hand so I could pull the little jute string through to create a lasso of sorts. The "celebrate" title is a section of the Cakewalk Celebrate washi torn so only that word shows. Makes for a perfect, quick title!
